Does anyone know where I an get some 23 Pin D type connectors (the Amiga RGB connectors)?
They don;t seem easy to find. I have asked ESR and they said that they are discontinueing them and only have the Male ones left.

Have you tried Maplin?

I've looked in the catalogue and can't see any.
Try a Google search for connectors as there are some companies that specialise in just connectors and cables.

Great to see this forum back, just reregistered after a lengthy break, hi all!
Well Stephen I have recently DIY re-towered my Amiga 1200 and noticed (although I cannot remember where I saw it, but have definitely read a tip) about your 23 pin problem.
I am fortunate to own already an official CBM monitor 23 pin-15 pin vga adaptor, and have no intention of using the external floppy drive connector in my tower at all so haven't actually undertaken this myself, but to cut a long story short I did find on my hunt in building a tower a guy that actually did a simple solution by cutting off the last two pins top and bottom diagonally off one edge of a 25 pin D connector, you can then bend reshape the outer metal frame, crude solution, but it works. If I find the internet link I shall post it, but its straightforward anyway..hope this info helps.....
I would assume so he can make an Amiga monitor cable. although... this is Steve ,so he could be using it for anything!
There must be somewhere that still sells them somewhere. We just need to find where. The hunt is on!

AmigaKit have the full thing ready made.
Or did have in the past.
I thought that too, but when I looked on Amigakit earlier I couldn't see any Amiga RGB monitor cables with 23-pin connectors listed. Must be in short supply if they don't have any!
But I just looked again and they do have:
SCART TO AMIGA (RGB) CABLE WITH AUDIO cable for £14.99 that does have a 23-pin female Amiga RGB connector.
Wouldn't one of those do Steve?

Hmm, could be worth emailing him and asking what the chances are of getting one.
They do have them, just checked on the site.
