It's a word to express joy or happiness. When you shoot someone in the back (on-line of course) you generally make a noise of happiness that is not necessarily a word. This is a w00t.

Probably when the English learn how to speak and spell English correctly. I include myself in that statement. My spelling if awfull, my grammer is not much better and my speach is tempered by too much swearing. But i'm still a lot better than todays kids.

Actually, as I mentioned in another thread somewhere, our spellings for words actually derive from the French versions of words, and the Americans are actually using the original English spellings for words. So at the end of the day the French are to blame!

As for that word of the year. That just shows how far the education system has fallen in recent years.

BTW, I wonder what the most popular word is on this forum.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

A close run between Amiga, PS3 or 360. Closely followed by many strings of words bashing the French.

French Bashing a game the whole world enjoys.

Unless you are talking about classic French cars and some current ones, then i will defend them.

Personally I would have thought the word Amiga would be pretty popular myself!
