It's a word to express joy or happiness. When you shoot someone in the back (on-line of course) you generally make a noise of happiness that is not necessarily a word. This is a w00t.

I laughed when I read this in the Metro and the rather po-faced article used the phrase 'l33t speak' and then had to explain what that was.

Yes, many a time have we fallen back to let urban dictionary define something, like when a french doctor at work innocently asked what a fluffer was after someone made a joke about it.

I couldn't tell him what it meant because I was laughing too much. Also, it was more fun to see his reaction as he looked at the mighty urbandictionary.
