K240 was brilliant. I played it loads. Even more fun with the cheats enabled as you could get access to all the technology and different types of missiles much quicker. The virus-spreading one was awesome - firing it off to an alien asteroid, then just watching as it slowly blew up everything on there.

I didn't know about that either. I've heard of the name of that PC game, but had no idea it was a sequel to K240.
If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!
I think it can be run through Windows, manual says it does, but I am not sure about later Windows versions.
But yes, it can also be run in Dos.
