Growlanser: Heritage of War - PS2

A new RPG of the Growlanser series has been released. It's also already available at Newsnet.

Nice. I found the early games in this series very interesting.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!

I haven't tested it yet, but it seems, according to some screenshots, that they moved from the old tradition 2D look to 3D graphics and environments.

Another RPG to play ... is it me, or do more RPGs come out now the PS2 is at the end of its life cycle, than a couple years ago? Not that I'm complaining

I think that RPGs on the PS2 get released at the same intervals during the whole PS2 lifetime. But the PS2 is really the console to stick with if you're into RPGs, mostly if you like JRPGs.

The same was true of the original PSX (PSOne) where many RPGs continued to be released right to the end of it's main life.

The PS2 is probably the most successful platform for RPGs out of any platform to date (except the PC), even more so if you also add the PSX back catalogue too.

If you haven't played a classic game in years, it's never too late to start!
