This actually looks amazing :-)
Mildly interested in this. The last "new" Star Trek movie (ST: Beyond) was a bit of a letdown, but I thought the previous two were decent.
Skipped the Enterprise series entirely, so it really has...
I suppose I was sort of looking forward to the Lord of the Rings: Shadow of War game. Previews were reallly nice, and I always loved the Tolkien universe.
However, as soon as I heard that Warner...
Wow! Been a while since I last visited CA! "You last visited: 29th June 2014 at 21:39" it says here :O
Everyone doing alright?
Have been quite busy lately, so I haven't found much time to play...
Yeah, saw this the other day. It looks sweet. A departure from the RPG's we've gotten so used to.
Who will be getting the PS4? Anyone preordered?
Since I've mostly been a Playstation-person since the start, I'll probably get one eventually, but not at launch. As others have mentioned, the PS4...
This looks great. I played Frontier for like 1000 hours. If they get this right and add in enough innovative features, I might well give it a try. The last space-faring game I played was Freelancer,...
Tell us what you think :)
Apparently, the game made 800 million dollars in just 24 hours... that's already more than three times the production and marketing costs. Insane.
I suppose that's...
Interested, but not buying it until the price drops a bit. Still got a huge backlog of games to complete (including GTA IV), and with the PS4 right around the corner...
Frankly, I'm more...
Gets a tad repetitive in the end, but a well-produced RPG nonetheless. Epic soundtrack, too.
Only one of the few JRPGs I've enjoyed this console gen.
Keep at it. All monsters have a specific pattern of attacking. Once you see through those patterns, it really isn't a hard game at all.
One of the best hack'em ups, ever!
Bummer. Oh well, another couple weeks of waiting won't hurt after 7 years
According to the Wikipedia article, this is the timeline of the release dates of the novel (title, # of pages,...
Love this series. If it's released on Blu-ray, I'm definitely buying it.
Like Teho, I read the books years ago as well, and have been eagerly awaiting the latest book. Good to hear it's finally...
That's due to the fact that some shows weren't shot in HD natively, or aren't in full HD. I have some BBC shows that are in 1080i, and some even default to 720p.
Definitely give the titles I...
Life
Baraka
Human Planet
Oceans
All these have great picture quality, and are definitely demo material for if you want to show off your equipment.
I found Planet Earth to be somewhat...
"Jumping the shark" is a term first popularly used by critics to denote that a TV series had seen its best days, and is now steadily declining in popularity, and most of all, quality.
Plenty of TV...
Lots of HD remakes this generation. Seems to be somewhat of a trend lately, with games like God of War, Prince of Persia, Sly Cooper, and soon Tomb Raider/Beyond Good and Evil getting remastered...
Looks like a nice phone, great design. Definitely tempted, but since the previous Xperia was so disappointing, I'll be doing some research first before investing in another Sony Ericsson phone. Nice...
Oh yes.
I especially love how my disk drive sounded like a chainsaw, particularly with games that had custom loaders. Disk drives going at it noisily ... what more could you want?
It's been coming for quite some time. The 360 may have an insurmountable lead in the US, but worldwide, the PS3 has been outselling the 360 pretty much from the start. To be on the verge of...
Personally, I'd consider Valkyria Chronicles a must-own as well. Loved that game, and still one of my favourite (action)RPGs this gen.
Consider adding Folklore as well. It leans more toward the...
Need For Speed: HP is another game on my to-buy list, but with so many games around unfinished (GT5, Enslaved, Castlevania LOS, Black Ops, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood), I can barely find the time to...
Got it as well. Great game, classic GT. Driving physics are, again, spot on.
There are some minor downsides that frankly should've been ironed out after 6 years of development (quality disparity...
Gonna second Moonstone here. Loved the game to bits, but the frequent and seemingly random crashes were game-breaking.
I kind of have the feeling that they (the developers) knew about the bug, but...
Dude...
