McBoot is the one. Works well to run emulators, DVD-Rs and games on a usb hdd (which is what I would recommend).

I also agree that that the Matrix Infinity is the best mid chip. I use one myself in my slim. However that chip isn't available any more. There are however clones that work as well. I forget the...
