If you are a fan of elite you will really enjoy it. It has the graphic we all imagined back in the older versions, and the game physics have become more realistic.
It does need a proper flight...

I've still not had chance to play this yet, and it will be even longer now that Elite is released.. plus others games like Wolfenstein, Alien, and Shadow of Mordor currently being played. :)

80 hours is definitely a very good length for an RPG. So many games these days are way too short, under 15-20 hours.
I definitely will get it eventually, but will wait until it's in a steam...

I suppose that does give kickstarters some incentive to be happy about it then. Plus they get any DLC free in future, whereas others buying now have to pay extra for them later... expect a season...
I really don't like this new approach to early access for new games. Charging early alpha/beta testers a lot of money for the privilege of beta testing the game for the developers, then as the game...
I've been following its progress, but am going to wait until after its released and is available at some time in the future on discount (hardly ever buy a game full priced).
