Has anyone seen this new game?

It shares its name with the Amiga game Foundation, has a very similar gameplay, look and feel. The devs claim they didn't even know the Amiga game existed until they launched their kickstarter. Convinced? Just a coincidence it's so similar? Not sure myself.
Looks interesting though.
I was struggling to picture Foundation as an Amiga game so I had a quick look. Released in 98, was it on CD only?
At that point in the Amiga's life, I'm not sure what level of penetration that would have received, how well known would it have been really? So it's possible the devs of this new one hadn't heard of it. That being said, they do seem remarkably similar and I'm not sure that's just by coincidence - it might be, but I doubt it.
