Probably quite a few I'd expect. Although a lot of people buy new things just to upgrade. For example, my Mum recently bought a new iPad and a new iPhone, because the old iPad was running slowly.

Why do people do that. Computer hardware doesn't start running slowly, it's normally a messed up os or not much storage space left. Much cheaper just to reset to factor settings and start again.

I think people probably either get new computers because it is fashionable, or because they don't have a clue what they're doing.
Very true. We are the exception, making hardware last beyond its expected life, actually working out the cause of crashing and slowdowns and fixing them.
