Brilliant! :D
I am just glad my laptop speakers suck big time!
... But AT LEAST they used to work!!!
Wahh! That was scary! Jumped in the chair here!
For some reason it doesn't work when I tried to view it. Just get a blank page with the website URL in the middle.
What browser are you trying to view it with? I think the majority of people use IE - I watched it with Safari no problem...
I found out the other day that my mate has gone completely over to Emulation as he couldn't get any decent web browsers or new parts.
I don't think he will mind me posting this snippet from an email I received off him "Sadly I sold my soul, or rather my Amiga a few years ago. I pushed and pushed to keep it as the main machine but was having increasing problems getting any web browsers that were up to the job and finding hardware and software that I needed too."
I have been watching the poll that I started about the real thing vs emulation and this is what prompted me to write the thread...
Works fine with FF3.
Sadly the shift has gone back in IEs favour at the moment. But this is down to Vista and most people buying new PCs just using the browser it comes with. Therefore IE7 has gained in usage lately.Quote:

This is a sad trend to see as IE is complete crap compared to every other browser out there. It is now about the only browser that is still not web standards compliant and IE7 is actually still using the old IE6 engine.
But it isn't quite as bad as it seems. Firefox hasn't completely fallen off the map. In my current server logs (based on 4 servers I maintain) IE has about a 60% market share and Firefox about a 34% share. Before Vista was released Firefox and IEs market share was roughly 49% FF to 45% IE.
It is sad to see that Opera still only has about a 2.3% market share and Safari about a 2.1% share. Opera should be far ahead of Safari because it is a great browser compared to Safari which basically isn't! Although Safari is still a lot more standards compliant than IE.
Lets hope that the soon to be released IE8 will finally be more compliant and nicer to use.
Anyway, back to the actual question. I use FF2 for most of my browsing, and all video and flash works fine. Just not this one. I've also tried it in IE6, IE7, Opera and Safari on this PC and non work. Therefore it could be my spyware. malware or other scanner blocking it from loading.
I know it may sound stupid but you did click on the play button on the screen didn't you?
I don't even get to see a play button. Just a black page with the word Taken in blue text at the top and the url www.biteycastle.com in yellow in the centre. Nothing else is on the page.
OK. I finally got it to work. I loaded the page in IE7 *spit* on one of my other PCs.
And even though I was expecting it I did still jump slightly!

I agree with you, although I'm a loyal Mac (and A1200 :)) user I have to lay the gauntlet down here. I used to use the Linux version of Opera and I loved it - the other ones that were available back then were crap and Opera was the only one that had loads of features that were nice to use...
Safari is a bit basic, as in, not that many bells and whistles but its a good reliable browser and I really haven't had a problem using it (nearly 5 years now)
FF I have tried in the past along with Netscape, Mozilla but I have to say that the worst browser in my view has to be IE. That is not a dig at M$ - its just ugly and loads pages slow - too farty for my taste - I have a wireless network here with 4MB broadband and Safari loads web pages almost straight away, these are sites I haven't recently visited so they aren't in the cache or anything - anyway, I regular clear my cache...
I think is a case what browser works best for you :)

I disagree. Most people use IE as their browser because they don't know any better. As soon as I point anyone to Firefox they come back a few days later and thank me.
Developers hate IE because it isn't standards compliant. Every site I develop I have to add stupid IE hacks into the CSS code just to make IE align and display the layout in the same way as every other browser does with my default CSS.
But if you disregard IE then yet. Anyone using another browser is using it because they personally like it over the others.
Safari is quite a minimalist browser that is true, but I hate it because of the horrible anti aliasing it applies to the whole of web pages. It makes everything over saturated and blurred. Horrible.
I have heard that IE8 is going to be less compliant and may break many sites.
This has come from M$ themselves.
Another attempt to force sites to a standard non complaint with other browsers no doubt.
Why do companies do this? Is it a fear of an open standard reducing their market share? In reality to just fragments the market and forces people to hate a product.
M$ are also doing this with multimedia software now with their new Silverlight technology which is going head to head with Flash.
