I've spent the last years celebrating Christmas with my family in Sweden, and this year is no exception. ;) Will travel abroad in the end of the week. My last day of work before Christmas is on Thursday, which is only a few days way! Woohoo! :)
And you, Harrison, are you planning anything special for Christmas this year?
Wishing there was something better to do than stare at a christmas tree while listening to the radio and feeling lonley.
(There always seems to be less people on forums etc at weekends and christmas)

I've managed to get Christmas Eve off from Royal Mail so I will have a nice long Christmas Weekend. I do sadly have to work on the 27th and 28th next week, which means I will be working on my birthday. :(
Over Christmas I will be spending the weekend and Christmas Eve with my girlfriend, then after we have opened our presents on Christmas morning I will be going home to my Parents and she will be going home to her parents.
Then Boxing Day my oldest best mate will be coming over to my parents (a tradition we have now done for many years) and we will spend the day being fed by my mum and drink way too much.
Then on my Birthday I might go to the cinema in the daytime to see the Golden Compass and then it's work in the evening.
Hehe, yes santa seems to get very sexy around this time of year ;)
This time of the year, you should be beating the birds back with a shitty stick.
Mentioning working on your birthday twice to get sympathy? :boohoo:
Not gonna happen.
As for beeting off birds with a shitty stick, its because they're so shitty and shitfaced at this time of the year that discerning gentlemen so as myself prefer to go on the prowl in February hen they are desperate for a Valentine.
Problem with 'desperate' girls is that you don't know how many times they have been 'desperate' that night already!!!
I never did something for christmas, but have a new gf since 3 weeks now, and she's sooooo nice that I'm trying to do it seriously this time, and so I'm hoping I can spend some time together with her. Wish me luck guys
.:merryxmas:
Ah! So that's why you have been a bit quieter lately. It all starts to make sense!
Hope you have a great time over Christmas with her. ;) ;) ;)
And don't forget. The way to a woman's heart is always expensive gifts! Doesn't matter what they say, it's what they really hope for.
Remember no means no, yes means no and you shouldn't have means is this it?
Also The more money you spend on her now at the strat of the relationship, the more you will need to spend later on. Start cheap and stay cheap thats my motto. Probably why i'm single.
So you noticed. Was pretty obvious though. I really like her, and we have so many things in common. She loves RPGs, Anime, jap horror movies, likes the same kind of music (not the pure metal, but the Motorpsycho style). And she's my type of girl, barely 1.65m and 50kg, she's looking cute like an anime character. She still studies at a university in Germany, not far away from Luxembourg, and is also 11 years younger than me  Currently she's playing FF7 on my PSP, as she hasn't played that FF yet.Quote:

Sounds perfect. ;)
My only concern is, that it is TOO perfect. I never met a girl like her in my whole life, and she's just living in a neighboring locality. We met 8 weeks ago for the first time, and she immediately liked me, we could immediately talk about everything for hours. I really want to stay with her, but sometimes dreams just collapse, lets hope it's not happening this time.
Enjoy the moment. If it all goes to pieces tomorrow then worry about that tomorrow. Enjoy the now.
Exactly. No point worrying today about what might happen tomorrow.
I know it is but all the doubts and fears you are having are going to make everything you worry about come true. Tomorrow the world could end and if you'd spent all of today worrying about it you'd be mightily pissed off when it happens.
Believe me i've ruined enough relationships due to worrying to know that no good ever comes of it.
Relax, let life take you where it wants to and enjoy the rollercoaster. Hope it all works out well.
Anyoe else want any couples councelling?;)
And if things don't work out, you still have US
I bet he feels a lot better knowing that!
Hey, whats wrong with us?! :D
Nice one on the GF DC - Sounds like a match made in heaven, or should I say hell, I can never decide with you!:p
As for me Im off to my folks on christmas to be fed to the point of popping by my mum - she made my dad buy her a new cooker last week especially for Christmas as the last one was a bit tempremental - only one of the elements worked so christmas turkey would have been interesting!
I have to get up early as my GF start work at 7 on christmas day so we are getting our daughter up to open her presents before she goes - makes a nice change from her waking us up.
Nice work DC. Hmm, I've also been having girl issues lately, but not of the good kind. One thing to note is to just enjoy the good times. If it gets hard, then be serious, think about things and all that, but happy times should be savoured.
I'm gonna be spending Christmas with my girlfriend (Angela) and her two kids (Zoe and Laura) and yes i live in a house with three women and no its not as much fun as it sounds. I am a little nervous as i have never had kids to look after but they are pretty cool and I've been living with them for a month now and its going well so hopefully they will like there gifts and also the starters and desserts I'm making for Christmas dinner (Angela's mother and father are also coming for dinner and her kick boxer brother is coming round after ) So i am hoping the crème brulee and eton mess go down well. If not i might get my head pummelled
I have no major plans for the morning, but in the afternoon I pick up my daughter and then head to my parents for the rest of the day and boxing day too.
But I might end up heading round a friends house to help set up their new toy (next gen console... nothing to do with entrances into fields!)
Slight change of plan. I'm going to try and sneak out in the morning to try and avoid christmas altogether. I just can't cope with having to open presents with everyone watching. But I will try and get back in time for dinner.
It's just a shame that there are no busses on Christmas day so I will have to spend most of the morning walking.
For me it will be complicated:
i have to go to my dad's house
i have to go to my mum's house
i have to go to my girlfriend's house
i have to go to my grandmother's house
all in day 24 and all again in day 25 ....
Will be going the the pub xmas day with my gf, brother and dad.
Am trying to avoid going anywhere else after that, but have got a feeling I will be roped into going round to my brothers to connect a laptop to the internet for my niece.
Boxing day, back to the pub, match, pub again.
Will try to avoid anything else, but again could get roped into going to my brothers and my gfs family.
