I have this feeling that next time Teho takes a plane journey we will be seeing him on the news, arrested at the nearest airport for inciting air rage!
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

On the subject of seatbelts, why is it that alot of coaches have them, which you have to wear, whereas public busses don't have them at all, when they are virutally the same thing?
Going back off topic, it is presentation evening at school tonight, and according to a letter which I got, I have won the proze for technology and will get my name on an honours board forever. (I doubt the letter was sent to the wrong person, as the letter was actually signed with a pen).
It's strange, the amount of letters I have had that have had a digitised or photocopied signature at the bottom of them.
BTW, I like the snowflakes on the front page of the forum.
I'm now going to roll myself a cig and step outside where it is freezing cold. :D Good to have some coffee to keep myself warm.
And.. the snowflakes rulez!
Why do people move to Midsomer?
So they can be murdered!
Haha, compost.
Holy macaroni! There's actually over -8 degrees celsius outside!
If Terry Pratchett was right in Good Omens when he said that any tapes left in a car for more than 2 weeks automatically turns into a copy of Queens Greatest Hits (I now have at least 20 copies due to this rule) what happens to CD's and MP3's?
CD convert to ABBA
MP3 convert to Spice Girls ;)

If at first you don't succeed, pay someone else to fail the next time!
The grass is always greener on the other side, unless you use Agent Orange.
Why is everyone always ill over Christmas? Or the oldest relative has to die on Boxing day?
Or in the case of everyone eating Turkey this year, Bird Flu!
At least then we can quote the famous line from My fair lady: "It was the influenza what done him in!"
You know all those turkeys that were killed for haveing H5N1, They were disposed of less than 1 mile away from me.
Scary! I take it you won't be having Turkey for Christmas?
There are a few cheap ones about at the moment.
Turkeys going cheep?
Yes... it's an old joke... but so am I!
Why do people on ebay always ask you questions just b4 the auction ends? My auctions are ending at 19:50 tonight on 7 day auctions and i've had 4 questions today after 6 days of bugger all activity.:badlanguage:
That is because a lot of people don't even look at a listing unless it's on the last day, or about to end. A bit mad, especially when their questions are postage related.
Don't let the bed bugs bite... or crawl into your ears and lay eggs in your brains!
Haha, I hate that, causes brain damage!!
Money makes the world go 'round.
Too bad I never have any.
I have often thought about Teho's point when I am flying. 'Were at 30,000 feet and travelling at 480mph with a tail wind of two knots..' Who cares - anything above 5000 feet is bloody high and the wind can do whatever the hell it pleases as long as it dosent pummpel the plane into the ground as far as im concerned.
I prefer ground vehicles
A perfect motto for New Year's Eve:
Today is the yesterday you feel embarrassed about tomorrow
After watching the Goodies last night i was wondering if Rochdale is still the home of the ancient Martial Art of 'Ecky Thump?

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

I think I sense some sarcasm, but I could be mistaken. ;)
Search your feelings, for you know it to be true.;)
Bloody hell! I've got voices in my head now! :o
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
My favourite poem of all time! :D The Jabberwocky is great! I can recite it off by heart.
The film was great too.
The book of the film of the poem is quite an interesting read too.
