On my older i7 PC with an Asus motherboard the left and right audio channels have always been reversed so the left and right channels are swapped. It means I have to connect the outputs backwards into the amp.
Have you every encountered this issue? Any solutions to swap them back? None of the Asus software seems to have any settings. The left and right channel tests work as expected with the channels swapped over.

Do you have soldering skills? Grab a male female plugs and invert it.

I don't need to solder anything as I can just plug the phono cables backwards with left into right and right into left on thy amp. But it's always bugged me why the Asus motherboard is outputting it the wrong way around. Could it be a manufacturing issue?
The same system also randomly throws up the Asus audio settings screen saying a device has been unplugged from the audio out when it hasn't, yet the sound continues to work fine. That also always randomly done that.

Ok you are right, you just can turn backwards. Very strange that the board came out of factory with that problem.
I wonder if it is the tracks on pcb that are crossed or the the connectores or even if it come crossed from some chip.
