Xbox live question about free games

I hope someone can answer this.

At the moment I'm adding the monthly Xbox One games to my gold account via the Android app just so I don't miss them until I eventually grab an xbox one cheap. 360 games to play on the Xbox one are also included each month for gold members, but when you look at them there is no way to add them to your account. How does that work? Are they still there if get a console? Or won't I have access to them? Bit confusing.

Sorry I don't have any clue, don't own one XBox One (yet), and my 360 is broken. Gonna buy a Scorpio perhaps when it's out.

Anyway, how comes you have a gold account and no console?

I've got an Xbox 360 and also use the account in Windows 10, as Windows now has integrated Xbox live. And because I have the subscription it gives Xbox One games each month so I've been adding them to my account so they are there when I do get an Xbox One.

I'm tempted by the Xbox One X too. Stupid name though.
