Can anyone tell me a safe place to get the latest ROM sets?

But this is a ratio based torrent site so you need to build up upload credit before downloading. Some torrents such as MAME are free so you can download and then seed them to build credit.

Otherwise the safest place is Usenet.

Definitely Pleasuredome, or you could also grab some sets from Gazelle Games. If you need an invite, let us know.

But like Harrison mentioned, these sites are all ratio based. Best would be indeed to download the latest MAME set (167), and seed for some days. Usually for these there's a lot of leechers, and you can end with having 100GB+ uploaded in under less than a week. Especially now, the set is out only since 4-5 days.

And once you have uploaded a bit, you can download the smaller sets for older generation hardware, there's some quite small ones. Depends what you want? Anyways, if you're C64 fan, grab the latest C64 GameBase torrent, think it's v14.

Hmmm. Joined Pleasuredome but I'm supposed to enter a code from a pdf from a torrent unfortunately there's no peers for said torrent so it's not downloading. Bugger.
