Happy Christmas. I hope you all had a good one.
I had a nice new tablet from my wife, a Samsung galaxy TabPro 10.1. Same spec as the new Tab S, other then ram being 2GB rather then 3GB, but half the price in currys. Great tablet.

I got some beer brewing equipment from my Dad, as I'm going to have a go at brewing my own beer.
We had a load of snow yesterday evening here in South Yorkshire. A good three inches or so.

It still amazes me how a little bit of snow makes such a disruption in this country. People stranded in Yorkshire, and one coach load abandoned and having to spend the night in a church!

Seriously? There's some stuff in this weekends paper about the snow, but I haven't read it yet.

Came back from Finland, where it started to get a little warmer, on Thursday we had -15, on Saturday -6, only to see that in Luxembourg fell 15cm of snow 3 days ago, and it's -7 here now.
Although in Sodankylä, where my girlfriend's little brother is staying in the army, they had yesterday -34,6 and at the moment that's the coldest measured temperature in Finland (Lapland) so far this year.

+7º here. Clear blue sky.... snow is a mirage, as always...

It got to -6 here last night, but is quite sunny with clear skies today and a bit above freezing.
First day back at home after spending a few days at in-laws and then yesterday at my parents for my birthday.
Decided to have a quite new year's eve I think, although we have been invited to my wife's Uncle's if we want to go.

Its been a bit chilly here as well. I was a bit cold when I went out yesterday, and the snow hasn't melted much yet.
Happy birthday Harrison :):happybirthday:

Happy belated birthday my dear friend, hope you still feel good after getting older and older :D
We don't know yet what to do for new year's eve, we were asked to go to Luxembourg city with some friends, but I'm not really in the mood for that, as we have then to go there with bus and train, come back later with taxi, as I wouldn't take the car. Plus the city is completely full of people, which I absolutely detest.
I prefer staying home, have a nice meal, have a bottle of nice champagne, and perhaps later go to some bars in my hometown, where I also know all the people.
Anyways, my girlfriend seemed to have caught a cold or flu yesterday, as she was cold all the time and not feeling so well, so we might anyway stay home, we'll see.
