Seems like Edgar wants to release Deluxe Galaga for PC / MAC. :)

However, what about Warblade? I thought that was already an updated version of Deluxe Galaga for PC?

Yes, Warblade is agreat and already out for the PC, but it has many differences to DG. Now Edgar wants to make a pixel perfect version of DG for PC, probably with some fixes here and there. He is also working on Warblade MKII.

It's a nice gesture but it just will not scroll or play the same way as the Amiga version.

Warblade is the PC sequel to Deluxe Galaga. Loads for effects, alien wave types, weapons, sound effects, music, and an online leader board. Well worth playing.

Well, neither Deluxe Galaga PC or Warblade Mk II is finished, and sadly they now probably never will be. Edgar Vigdal passed away from cancer on the evening of april 1st. (http://emv-software.weebly.com/) :(

I was about to post about this, Very sad indeed.

He was a brilliant game developer and created for me the best Galaga and Pacman variants. It is such a shame he didn't get to complete his next projects.
