Metal Slug Anthology

For all fans of the Metal Slug series, a new Anthology has now been released for PS2, including Metal Slug 1-6 and X.

Oh, very nice. Although with MAME emulating many of the arcade originals of this series do we really need it? :unsure:

I don't really know, as they play very well in MAME, and also with the X-Arcade controller. Although having them all on one DVD, playing on a big screen just makes fun too. And the PS2 controllers work very well for the game, although it's no arcade controller.

Very true, and for most fans of the series they will probably not be into emulation, so the opportunity to get hold of the complete series, including the first two titles which haven't been released on any main stream home platforms before, is a great thing.
