Kin over at Amibay posted a link to the following video, and it is pure gold.

There are quiet a few GTX 480 clips like these

I've seen the same clip used for something else with different subtitles just can't remember what. Tell you what though it would be fun if on the frying egg clip they disconnected the fan and tried it:evil:.

Yes, I was very disappointed when the egg failed to cook.

They were running the test in an open system though, so it wasn't reflecting real world running conditions. I've heard the 480 gets to over 90 degrees and above when gaming, and that would surely cook the egg.

It's been used for loads of things, including being banned from xbox live, somehing about reality TV, facebook changing their layout and so on.

Apparently the producers of the film (it's called Downfall) have started trying to crack down on these spoofs, as there are now just too many of them - and there are loads that just aren't funny.

Or "Der Untergang" in its original title.

I've not seen the original film yet, but really want to, as anything giving a perspective of WWII from the German side interests me. I thought the recent Valkyrie was very good.

Tie that man to a post and shoot him.

Any film with a short scientologist in is going to be crap and about as historically accurate as U571.

I don't mind if it is historically accurate. I just enjoy seeing films from the opposite perspective of WWII.

And personally I've enjoyed most films featuring short scientologists!

Yeah I thought Valkyrie was alright. Glad I didn't see it at the cinema. Lady T hated it though.

It was pretty slow paced. But sometimes (shock! horror!) I quite enjoy something that isn't just guns and robots and splosions and space monsters and zombies and ninja.

That vid is funny - always makes me smile those Hitler spoofs!

The Fermi is a bit of a noisy beast, but people will still buy it because it's nvidia.

I decided to camp on ebay for a bargain top-of-the-line GPU from the last generation as the upgraders want rid to help pay for their new toy.

So....I managed to bag a GTX 280 for cheap - an upgrade for my 4850. I have no brand loyalty and could have gone for a 4890 at the same price point or slightly cheaper, but I decided to give CUDA and Physx a try.

This thing is a beast - over 140 GB/s memory bandwidth at stock speeds and unlike the Fermi, is actually really quiet in 2D and not that bad in 3D. Temps are 40-75C, with idle load in watts being quite low for a top end card.

Next big upgrade will be an ATI 5870, a few years down the line! I'm going to give the GTX 480 a miss.

The movie is really good, I saw it the time it came out, and recently bought the BluRay and watched it 2 weeks ago with my girlfriend, she liked it too. Has an average of 8.4 at IMdB. Bruno Ganz won several prices for his role as Hitler. The movie was also nominated for an Oscar for best foreign film.
