A1200 Hard Drive light not working

Hi all, Today I installed a CF drive with workbench 3.0 and WHDLoad installed. Nice piece of kit :thumbs: The only thing I have noticed is that the Hard Drive light does not activate when the CF card is read. Has anybody else come across this? I plugged my old hard drive back in and the light then worked when the disk was accessed so I know the light is functioning. If it's any use I have one of the later Amiga 1200 by Amiga Techhnologies.

same here, other than that the cf card is great as a hd though

Odd, I put a CF card in my 600 and the HD light works fine on that.

Further investigation has found the Adaptor to be at fault. The light on the board itself dosen't work. Apart from that though everything works as intended.

I bought another adaptor and with this fitted my HD lights up everytime the CF card is active :D
