hi this is my first mobile post. i got a new phone the lg ku990i and it looks great! internet, divx, a great camera, qwerty touche keyboard, so far so good. CA retro edition looks nice! cheers!

i wonder if it's safe to keep the passwords in my phone....
I would like to use gmail in my phone but sould it be safe?
In my laptop i never keep passwords, and i always auto-clean all stuff when i exit the browser, but in mobile.... :unsure:
anyone uses mobile net?

By the way, my LG KU990i it's great!!!!
-just copy a 700MB divx in to it, with no convertion at all, just copy/past and it woks so good!!:cool:
-camera is a 5mpixel with flash and manual focus, very nice!
-internet (3G vodafone) works very fast, i can watch youtube with no "lag" (is that the word) my english.... even google maps work nice ! it cost me 75 euros plus some points (i ear points by eatch euro i talk) dont know how it is in UK....

so i am very :):cool: with it!!

I use gmail through my phone. The password isn't visible in settings, and to change it needs confirmation of the old password. Plus I use a passcode for the screen lock (when the phone goes to 'sleep' and the screen goes off, it needs a 4digit code before it can be used again). OK maybe not the most haxxor proof, but it would stop a casual user messing around if they happened to find my phone.

I use the mobile internet a hell of a lot and don't really worry about it too much. I don't make purchases online with it, though. Sometimes, I think one can worry too much and end up over thinking things.

If you lose the phone you can always just change your Gmail password, then whoever finds the phone won't be able to log in anyway. Plus as long as you keep a record of the IMEI number of your mobile you can get the phone blocked if you lose it so no one can use the phone at all.

Yes, they could. That's why I set up the screen lock, your phone may well have something similar. A four digit code to hide everything in my phone (emails, contacts, notes etc) is about enough for most purposes I would say.

Having to enter passwords for mail, facebook, other things would be too much of a pain in the ass for me. YMMV, obv.
