Was anyone else here a fan of the Star Trek RTS Birth of the Federation? It was a great RTS released a few years ago, and similar (but on a much larger scale) to the Amiga game Supremacy, and also similar to the recent Star Wars Supremacy.

Well, a new game called Star Wars Supremacy is now in development. It is based on Birth of the Federation, but brought up to date. It is being developed as a free project and you can already download the Alpha version from the site to take a look and try it out.

The videos on the main site seem to be broken, but Gamespot have then on their site here (http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/action/startreksupremacy/index.html).

I played Birth of the Federation (not the amiga version) and even if i'm not too much of an RTS fan, i enjoyed it (Star Trek ftw). I'm very happy to hear about Supremacy, i'm keeping a warm place on my desk for it ;)

Actually, i start to enjoy RTSs more and more, thanks to Warcraft 3 and warhammer: dawn of war 2...

What Amiga version??????????

I liked BOTF although to be honest it could be a little dull a bit more Supremacy than RTS but not as good as Supremacy.I might look into this one I'm not sure. Bridge Commander 2 would be good though.
