This retro console is available at eBay for about 50$. With this baby you can play all the games on cartridges from NES, SNES and Mega Drive. The console doesn't seem to be handling PAL though. If in every slot a cartridge is plugged to, you can comfortably switch between games. The lightgun is for use with NES games.

Here's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZ5jkwFxelY&eurl=http://www.retrowelt.com/&feature=player_embedded) a little video review.

SO I take it only plays US/Jap games then?

This is cool. It's like a commercial version of that home brew system we recently looked at in another topic. Looks great, and with controllers included very nicely thought out. Although it is a shame it has no support for each systems original controllers.

Also worth noting is that it doesn't have the universal AV sockets from the original systems either, but instead only composite and audio RCA sockets. A bit disappointing as we all know that composite isn't a great quality video method, whereas on the original SNES for example I have an A/V to Scart cable outputting an RGB signal, giving a great quality image. Maybe this is due to it being a US/Jap based system.

I'm also wondering about game compatibility between regions, and if it will run European cartridges. Will be interesting to find this information out if we can.

I guess it will only run JP or US games.
