Hi guys,
Sorry I haven't been around in a while, just been busy with work and whatnot. Sadly, the time has come for me to sell my Amiga stuff. I would like to keep them but I need the money. Also, I usually just use WinUAE when I want my 500 fix. Anyway, I have 2 A500s. One is basically stock + the standard memory expansion card, the other I believe has a different chipset. I only used the stock one and it works fine. Also included are a working 1084S monitor, extra floppy drive, mouse, and TONS of disks (see pics). I have it listed on local craigslist, but for you guys, I will sell it cheaper. I was hoping to get $150 + shipping but I am open to offers. Here are some pics:

Thanks for looking.

Hey to you LowercaseE
Be a shame if you have to sell the package mate, I know what it's like finacially speaking to really need the cash but I feel you'll regret it in the years to come.
I use an emulator to play Atari 2600 games on the p.c. but still kick myself for giving away all those cartridges and the player all those years ago.(1987)
Hope you win the lotto or such just so you can play real amiga when you retire, I know i'd like to.
The gear looks good and i see original wb disk in one of the boxes, love it.
Hope it works out for the best for you.
loopy.

Thanks. Even if I did keep the stuff, it just wouldn't get much, if any use. I'd rather let someone else who loves the Amiga have fun with it.

It is sad to see you having to sell your Amiga collection. Never feels good to have to let such a thing go.

I do however think you have drastically overprices the sale. The monitor is probably worth the most at about £15-20. The A500's are really only worth around £10 each. Maybe slightly more if boxed. The boxes of disks are not worth a whole lot. I see boxes of 100 disks sell on ebay for about £5.

So possibly £50 ($100) for the lot is more realistic. But you might get lucky and find someone who really wants it. Good luck with the sale.

I also recommend advertising on AmiBay. Its free and gets a lot of Amiga users.

Hey mate, welcome back to the purgatory :firedevil:

Couldn't you just sell one of your guitars

Thanks for the info Harrison. I just asked a higher price to leave some haggle room. I'm certainly open to offers though so I'll just see what happens.

DC, I would sell a guitar or 2 if I didn't use them. I really don't use the A500 anymore since WinUAE is so much easier and quicker to set up. If I had the room for a separate "vintage gaming room", believe me, the A500s would be off the market and setup for fun.

As I moved into a house now, since 2 weeks, I have a lot more space but I won't buy any console/computer material as I already have so much, instead it would be great to buy a guitar again, finally I still want to own a flying V once in my lifetime

Something I would dearly love! The holy grail - a retro gaming sanctum. If anyone sees one on eBay...

Whoa, I don't know what I did before (quoted or something)?!?!

Anyway, Flying V's are great, probably the only Gibson I would ever own. I prefer Jackson guitars, they just feel right to me.

A friend of mine plays Jackson guitars and I really like the Rhoads model, which Ian Scott (my idol when I was young:)) also played. Later he switched to ESP, I think that's their Striking V model.

Well, as of today she is gone. :( Got $250 for everything through my craigslist ad. I will still play the games on WinUAE, but the real deal is no more for me.

I am happy that it sold, but definitely sad to see it go. Since selling it, I have had WinUAE running constantly, mostly Pinball Dreams. The buyer was a real nice guy who had a C128 in the past but never moved up to the Amiga. Now that he has the time and $, he decided to give it a try. I'm sure he'll have just as much fun with it as I did.
