I am wondering if I should get the new IV scan/FF for the Amiga or get a Mediator and Voodoo card. So I have a cpl questions.

1) Will the Mediator/Voodoo alow me to play normal games from floppy/Hdd or will I have to use the native RGB port and Miggy Monitor?

2) Will the Indivision fit in with a mediator board or is it one or the other?

3)Is there a passthrough for the miggy gfx to the medatior/Voodoo?

Thanks. Thinking this as they seem to be both around the same prices.

Cheers

The mediator won't allow you to play normal games that use standard amiga graphics. You will have to use the RGB port. If you had a scandoubler and a multi input monitor you could have both the VooDoo and RGB connected to the same monitor.

What is indivision? I've heard of it but not sure what it is.

For information on the indivision go here. (http://www.jschoenfeld.de/news/news130_e.htm)

I would imagine that a indivision and a mediator would work well together. As a vodoo card would mean you can use rtg graphics then any game that uses rtg graphics will be displayed via the Voodoo card as will workbench. You could try Modepro to promote games to use rtg displays but most the time it doesn't work. Any game that uses a native amiga screen cannot be displayed via the graphics card. However you can use a TVcard to display the games on a standard monitor but apparently the PIP mode on the TVcard will not be the highest (haven't got a clue what this means but thats what was said on another Amiga board.
