After various PinMAME releases (...1.57, 1.58, 1.59) and the latest 1.60, a 2.00 version was released at PD. I don't know how much has been updated in this one, as I didn't join it yesterday, but they made a big jump from 1.60 to 2.00 immediately. I will probably join the torrent today, and see how big the difference is.

I look forward to knowing what has changed. I'm still a few versions behind the current version of pinmame so maybe this is a good time for me to update my set.

If you missed some versions, I suggest to update version by version, as if you try to join the 1.55 set with the latest, it'll have to rebuild a lot, and your torrent will possibly begin at 10%.

That is a good point. Do they still have the older version torrents available on PD?I can't reach PD anymore from here, it got websensed, but I guess that older versions are NOT available anymore. If they do it the same way as with MAME releases (if a new full version is released, the older is no longer available for d/l), then the chance is low that you'll find older PinMAME versions.

I missed 2 versions, same with Fruit Machines, Visual Pinball, Visual PinMAME and Future Pinball, so I downloaded the whole sets again. But I'm at 1.53TB upload and have a ratio of almost 4.00, so that's no problem.

I also have a ratio of around 4.00 on their too now. My overall upload is much lower than yours though (due no doubt to my slower upload speed now). I think I'm on about 400GB upload credit available at the moment so still plenty of credit to download whatever I wish.

I'm still at 512kb/s upload, but my PC is on 24/24, and that already for over 2 years. I can d/l big amounts of data without even noticing it, that's great :lol: But unfortunately there's nothing special I need from PD anymore.

That is still faster than my upload. Mine is currently at 48KB/s maximum but I tend to seed at 35KB/s so I can use the connection at the same time.

When I move though I will be upgrading to ADSL2 and then will have a 2.5MB/s upload speed! ;)

Luxembourg still sucks when it comes to ADSL2 and fast connections. Hopefully we'll get VDSL soon :rockbanana:

VDSL would be amazing. 52Mb/s download and 12Mb/s upload.

There is also now VDSL2! 100Mb/s in both directions. Now that would be AWESOME!!!

Personally I want to move to Hong Kong now. They already have countrywide VDSL2 for $11 a month!!!

PinMAME 2.00 joins the 1.60 set at 97.8%

Belgium ADSL sucks, i'm stuck at 35 kb/s for seeding and i'm already at my 3rd optional pack of 5g this month (we're only the 8th) T_T
