Did any of you play Colonization back in the days? If yes, then you can start looking forward to a new version of this classic game.

The game is currently in development and it is scheduled to be released during fall 2008.

I've seen some screenshots and read a few articles on the game, and I like what I've seen. I'll definitely get it when it's available for purchase. :)

There's an entry at Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilization_IV:_Colonization) for those that are interested.

The official site is here (http://www.firaxis.com/games/game_detail.php?gameid=21).

I recently read a preview of this. I really liked the original game so am looking forward to this. I just hope that don't make it as fiddly as Civ4 was. I still prefer Civ3 over 4.

W00t. This game will be brilliant. Played the crap out of the original Colonization - I actually liked the smaller-scale setting as opposed to Civilization's - so I hope they'll manage to recreate the same kind of atmosphere.

I'm hoping for that as well, because the atmosphere of the original Colonization was something special. Let's cross our fingers and hope for the best. Looks like this will be a great game! :)
