Hey, dont know if anyone remembers Ulysses 31. I was browsing Amazon while preordering Mass Effect and spotted the complete boxset for £10.

Received it on Wednesday, I think the wife was more excited than me. So we watched 3 episodes and I felt like I was 8 all over again, :).

Great bargain and great 80's cartoon. Still aint bought cities of gold yet, but its on the to buy list, as is TeknoMan (This cartoon ruled, apparently the complete boxset aint released yet, :( ).

Wow! The box set for £10. I will have to grab that. Ulysses 31 is still one of my favourite series from my youth. :) Just reading the name instantly has the theme tune playing in my head, and the image of Philip Schofield and Gordon the Gopher singing the background. BTW, check out youtube. They have a clip of them singing the whole theme. Is great.

Aye seen that clip, i even remember it, :). We were both singing the theme tune on every episode so far, and even my kids love it and have starting singing it, :).

Absolute classic series. Loved it!

Did it have a proper ending? Loads of cartoons never seem to get the proper send off they deserve.

So many A* cartoons and theme tunes from that era. Great time to be a kid. :)

I'm pretty sure it did have a proper ending to it. I don't remember the ending exactly anymore, but I downloaded and watched the entire thing a couple of years ago and am pretty sure there was one. Will definitely buy this collection, great find! :)

Never saw last episode, but the boxset lists the last episode as "the kingdom of hades".
Dont want to stick it in and watch, as im only 3 episodes in so far, :).
So I can only guess it was the ending. I hope so, hate cartoons that never had a final ending.

If you go to that website i plugged Kingdom of Hades is the final ever episode and after a quick look at the script it seems to have finished properly so enjoy.

Oh man, Ulysses was awesome. I don't think I ever saw the end, but I did read a series summary a while ago.

We had a 'NoNo' toy. It was quite small, and I really don't remember where it came from. And I'm pretty sure it's been chucked away.

That's what happened to me, and how I ended up watching the entire babylon 5, 1 DVD each night!
