In jnauary acube systems will be shipping the minimig, a 12cm x 12cm 2mb a500 FPGA board. for more info goto minimig (http://www.acube-systems.biz/eng/hardware.php). It doesn't tell you much but if you go into the site you find out you need 1.3 ROM images, a 1gb SD card is supplied and if you go for the bundle you'll get a PSU with it. Alternativly if you goto minimighome (http://home.hetnet.nl/~weeren001/) and if you're really brave and good with a soldering iron you could build your own.

Yeah I've been following this story for a while, glad to see they've at last come up with a ready-assembled machine.

That is great news. I've also been following the Minimig project since it began, and have seen the build your own Minimig kits for a while, but due to my a lack of soldering skills it's been out of reach.
I'm definitely interesting in a pre-built one. It works out at about £104 which isn't bad. Just need to work out what I would put it in.

Then you have to accessorise.... Just goto the Unicomp Keyboards thread for that.

I was hoping for one already boxed so to speak.
Still, it's a big improvement on the original plan of me having to put it together myself.

I would of gone to build one of these (i still might... i do have the PCB lol)
the problem, or the thinf that stops me is that its pretty nigh on impossible to get hold of a Spartan 3 FPGA at the moment... (almost as hard as it is to solder it LOL)
so... yeah kinda wained me a bit on it....
there is some great work in this area though. like AGA and fast ram upgrades!!! whoot eh?
