Oz came across this apparently simple game 1 month ago, but we had a great time building a course. You simply draw lines and let a guy run it down on his sled. It's quite simple to do a course, just draw it just like with a pencil.

You can of course make some loopings and totally insane long jumps, but once the guy falls off the sled, it's finished, but you can recorrect the place where he fell off, so that he makes it through next time. You can make the course as long as you want, but it gets a challenge very fast.

There are thousands of videos making their rounds on the internet, like on YouTube or on the Line Rider homepage itself. There are even people who really draw some amazing landscapes around, making it look extremely beautiful. I had some great fun, very simple game, but very addictive once you started building a course.

This might be something for Submeg.

Homepage is here (http://www.linerider.com/), and you don't have to register immediately, you can also draw courses online when clicking on the PLAY NOW button.

Check out this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiUWCfzuvLg) one, called Monumental. I have to admit, that this guy has some drawing skill

I tried this quite a while ago. It was fun but I was terrible at it. I can't draw to save my life anyway, and spent ages trying to make the little guy do a big jump or a loop without dalling off. I kind of did, but it was rubbish really.

So, did anyone try to make a circuit yet?

After seeing some of the line rider clips on youtube I felt far from inspired, in fact rather feeble and inadequate (in a strictly 'line rider skills' sense ONLY) so I didn't bother with it anymore.

I felt the same, there are thousands of videos on YouTube, so no need to prove skills and try to make a better one on your own. But I focused on Submeg, as he's more the guy to fiddle around with such things.

Just read an interview at Game Informer with the guy that makes those crazy tracks with Line Rider, called TechDawg, and just looked at the one he needed 4 month for, very impressive, it contains over 120.000 lines, watch it here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SASjlj5R4U4).

Read the whole interview here (http://www.gameinformer.com/News/Story/200805/N08.0512.1714.44571.htm).
