For interested parties, you can take a look here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIxe4Z_DcHQ) or here (http://www.avp-r.com/).

Doesnt look too bad... but I get the feeling it will be highly predictable...

The trailer looks good. Definitely looks like they have gone back to ideas from the original films. I liked the first AvP film but it wasn't really true to the films before it and was rated too low to contain enough horror.

Lets hope the final film is as good as the trailer.

Indeed, I thought it was a trailer for the new game, but this film looks great.

Well to be honest, while it looks better than the original AVP it is still more gore than horror.

And why couldn't it be on a space colony, long after Alien and Aliens?

Because it's made by Americans and they have to show the USA being involved and winning something! ;)

And, as Americans, they expect every Alien movie to be a sequel to Aliens (The only one directed by a non-Euro director).

And I bet the Americans will save the world in the end.

The trailer looks gorier than than the first movie, but I liked it, as the Aliens, drawn by H.R. Giger are just awesome (and also the face huggers), and the Predators with their ultimate weapon collection rule too. But I don't know how it is possible that we humans could ever win over them :hmmm:

I do hope they don't focus too much on just the human side (perspective) in the film, making it a fight for human survival, when it should be more about the Predators using the Aliens for hunting pleasure and just killing the odd annoying human that gets in their way.

The problem with most recent American made films, including Transformers, is that it all focuses on trying to show America as the heroes, winning the fight for survival. And all because of Iraq and Afghanistan. It always amazes me with films like this how America is shown to be the only country in the world being affected by the events in these films, and the only ones capable of salvation. Makes me laugh. Especially for a country that hasn't actually ever won a war of their own!

This has also always been the case with any film involving a super hero. Or is it because America is the biggest cause of most world wide problems?

Just got back and logged in to see the trailer. Cool as hell like, I just hope it will make up for the first one which I thought was dissapointing. Some guy on youtube wrote "1min 01 second rocks!"- He must be mental.

Only problem with the trailer is that every cool scene is immediately shown, so you don't need to go to the cinema anymore. Would be better if they make another trailer where you can barely see some of the death scenes, to keep the suspense higher. Too bad.

Yeah, I hate it when they do that. I expect the end result will be the trailer with padding.
